QResponder helps you fill out security questionnaires. Many companies send long lists of questions about your data security. Answering these takes time. QResponder uses your own files to draft accurate answers. It runs this process on your own computer. Your data stays on your machine and does not travel to any cloud provider.
🚀 Getting Started
You need a Windows PC to run this software. Ensure you have at least 8GB of memory available. You also need a model to process your text. This tool works with Ollama, which is a free program for running artificial intelligence models on your computer.
Click the link to download the installation file to your computer.
Open the file after the download finishes.
Follow the prompts on your screen to complete the installation.
📖 How to Use the App
Once you install the app, open it from your desktop. You will see a workspace. Here is how you complete your first questionnaire:
Upload your data: Drag your security policies, SOC2 reports, and documentation into the app. These form your knowledge base.
Import the questionnaire: Upload the Excel or Word document containing the questions you need to answer.
Generate answers: Click the button to start the process. The app reviews your uploaded documents and suggests answers for each question.
Review: Check each generated answer. You keep full control over the final output.
💡 Why Run Locally?
Privacy matters in security compliance. Many online tools require you to send sensitive company documents to external servers. QResponder acts differently. It performs all calculations on your hardware. No third party ever sees your internal security documents or answers.
🛠️ System Requirements
Check that your system meets these standards for the best experience:
Operating System: Windows 10 or 11.
Memory: 16GB of RAM is best, though 8GB works for small documents.
Storage: 2GB of free space for the application and model files.
